Feedback/Comments – Excel Safety Training

”Having attended the IOSH Managing Safely course delivered in Glasgow this week by Excel Safety Training, can I take this opportunity to inform you of just how helpful this course has been.  Up to now my experience of H/S has been minimal but by attending this course my knowledge has increased 100 fold.  I now understand to a great degree the why, process and how of a good HSMS.  The course also greatly covered risk assessment , investigating and how to measure H/S processes, all of which I knew nothing about before attending.  I believe that now I have the knowledge and confidence to carry out or assist in any of these tasks.  Indeed this course has given me a great desire to get more and more involved in H/S issues.

Regarding the safety training course itself, I found that the content was both interesting and extremely relevant.  The manner in which it was presented really put the message through to me.  Team exercises were very well thought out and enhanced the learning of the subject matter as were the excellent videos etc.  However most of all, great credit must go to the course tutor Kevin Jose.  Kevin knew the subject extremely well and was very proficient at making it easy and interesting to understand, he done this through his superior knowledge and friendly approach. Perhaps if your office has further business, my reflected comments can be forwarded to them.

In conclusion, The IOSH Managing Safely course was excellent and opened my mind to this subject and has given me a great interest in gaining more experience in the H/S  field.”

Many thanks for working to deliver the 2-day FAW Refresher this week.  It is not easy to deliver a course to a large class successfully and you seemed to have pulled it off. I would like to also note the comments provided by some of the delegates, most of whom have been first aiders for a number of years and also a comment passed on from one of the Assessors who said that he had been advised, that this was the best first aid course he had ever attended.

“Enjoyed it betters than last course as it concentrated on the core issues”
“Very good course”
“The course was well delivered and the trainers were very knowledgeable”
“The course was run in an good environment and good learning process”
“Instructor knowledge excellent”  “Very relaxed atmosphere”
“Glad to see emphasis on vital elements of FA i.e. not too much time spent on bandaging/detail etc.  Clear concise deliver of course”

ORICOM – D. Bailey MCP  (iOSH Working Safely)

“Kevin was very good.  He kept the attention of the guys at all times and ensured, via interaction, that everyone was learning throughout the course.  I think most of the guys found the exam fairly easy thanks to the good training.”

“Both courses were delivered in some of the worst weather ever seen in Scotland with a number of delegates not able to attend.”
